Google Analytics Now Open to Everyone ( No Invitation Needed )

Google Analytics is now open to everyone, now no need for invites to get your analytics account. All you need to do is just head to Google Analytics page and login with your Gmail id. Support for configuring your analytics account is provided here.

I’m happy to tell you that we’ve just removed the wait to receive a Google Analytics account. Now anyone with a website can instantly create one for free by simply by visiting google.com/analytics or by clicking on the “Analytics” tab within AdWords. After you create an account, we suggest reading the Installation Guide to get it set up quickly and correctly.

Don’t get your hopes up too high. Analytics has a lot of data but is not very actionable. However, if you are looking for a free tool to optimize your adwords campaign, I just wrote a free tool for myself that I am now giving a way. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Is it any better than other site tracker softwares (one such, sitemeter) apart from the fact that (of course!) it belongs to google?

Yes Ramanujam use google analytics and see yourself. It is one of the best tools available in the market.
