Intel Core 2 Quadro (code name Kentsfield ) will be available in two flavours:
- Core 2 Quadro QX6700 clocking at 2.66Ghz with 4MB cache using the existing 775 socket packaging.
- Core 2 Quadro Q6600 clocking at 2.4Ghz with 4MB cache using the existing 775 socket packaging.
The Core 2 Quadro QX6700 will set you back by USD $999 (INR 45,954) whereas the Quadro Q6600 will be a bit cheaper and more affordable than the QX6700. 
I just can’t wait for these processors to get released even though they will be priced higher initially. I have already started saving money to get myself quad core kentsfield or a quad core solution from AMD.
