Intel will introduce budget Celeron M 520 chip which would be derived from Core 2 Duo (Merom Core) and will be available in Q1 2007. This chip would sport single core clocking at 1.6Ghz running at 533MHz FSB featuring 1MB L2 cache.
A 1.73Ghz version of the same core named Celeron M 530 will debut in Q2 2007. As far as the prices are concerned the Celeron M 520 is expected to retail for USD $134 (INR 6,030). Intel is making itself more competetive to hit on the budget Turion 64 offerings from AMD.
