Lyrics Plugin For WinAmp and Windows Media Player

Lyrics plugin is an add-on to view lyrics in WinAmp or Windows Media Player. Once you install the plugin you will be able to view the lyrics of the song that is being played with-in the player.
Features of Lyrics Plugin:
- Integration with WinAmp and Windows Media Player.
- Configure the lyrics display appearance according to your liking.
- If lyrics for some songs are not found, you can add it yourself.
- Built-in Google search link for the songs that you don’t find the lyrics displayed.
Pre-requisite:
- WinAmp and Windows Media Player. ( I tried this with WinAmp 5.3 and Windows Media Player 11)
- Presence of ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags for the songs.
- If you are using a firewall don’t forget to give access to WinAmp or Windows Media Player.
Configuration of the Lyrics Plugin:
- Edit: You can add your own custom lyrics if you are not satisfied with the lyrics that are displayed or if the lyrics are not found for that particular song.
- Search Google: If you don’t find the lyrics for the songs displayed then use built-in Google search function to find your lyrics. I have tried for searching couple of songs for which the lyrics where not displayed and found the lyrics for those songs.
- Feedback Forum: Since this plugin is still in beta stage and if you happen to find any bugs then use this function to report it.
- Configure: If you want to customize the appearance of lyrics display use this. (See the screenshot provided below)

Any idea how to uninstall this from WMP v.11? It doesn’t seem to reside in my Add/Remove Programs area.
The issue is that I can pull up the Edit screen and paste lyrics, but there’s no “submit” button or anything that saves the lyrics. You can’t even increase the size of the pop-up edit window. I either need to fix it or delete it because it’s making me crazy.

when u use the lyrics plugin is the music file hav to be file that hav lyric in or how the lyric show up? well actully just want to know that is normal music file will show lyric?
Occasionally we come across two types of music files. One’s with their Title and Artist already input in the files and one’s with names like Track01 and all. This plugin basically searches the lyrics on internet and downloads it while you are playing the song. On the other hand, in case you don’t find the matching lyrics or lyrics doesn’t show up, you can edit yourself and once you save the information while you are playing from your hard drive, it remains saved the next time.

dude… this plugin is really great.. it works with my wmp11… but can it shows the lyrics if the internet connection is down? and when it does found the lyrics, where does it saved to? and last question is can we save the lyrics together with the music file? (like u manually put the lyrics in the lyrics properties…) thnx again for this great plugin..

it works fine but i can’t configure it.
i can’t change text color and backround color or styles..
i see the configuration page,i click to “save changes” button,i refresh plugin but it doesn’t work..

Hy. I got a problem here. I already install the plugin to wmp 11\(vista). the problem is, whenever i want to open the wmp, the its suddenly close by itself. This occurred since i installed the plugin. Any idea how to solve this problem???

hello, i installed this plugin a while back on wmp11 using ie8.
then sometime, it just stopped working. i can still view the lyrics themselves sometimes, but i can neither configure nor edit them myself. the windows come up maybe but once i click submitit either hangs there as yet another blank window or ’submits’ but gets no results even if i click for next song or refresh.
i’ve rolled back to wmp10, uninstalled, reinstalled the plugin and most other visualizations not default. switched to firefox even as default browser-the windows themselves still open with an internet explorer browser for some reason-switched back, uninstalled winamp and so on.
scouring the internet for a solution hardly did any use as although many people knew about this plugin and used it/recommended it, little said anything about problems and those who did enquire and the answer, as per here aren’t displayed.
unfortunately the official website itself doesn’t contain any forum, faq etc or even an inquiry form so i can only resort to spamming ‘relevant’ internet posts with an sos and hope someone can help.

God bless the creator(s) of this plugin… However, i’d like to suggest a few more features.
1) Enable the saving of lyrics as readily accessible text files onto the computer’s hard disk without having to download from the internet every time you play a particular song
2) Enable saving of text color, font & background color (which seems to not work currently)
3) A button or a text hyperlink to search for a video of the song on YouTube and/or other similar sites or search engines
this plug-in awesome but not working windows 7 ultimate edition. Please help me.
