How to Make Speakers Out of Your Hard Disk Drive

Instructables has published an article which describes step by step procedure for turning your old dead hard disk drive into a speaker. I wanted to try out this but currently I do not have a dead hard disk drive. Though it looks weird but the guy who thought about it was indeed very creative, looks like in future old dead hard disk drives will be recycled this way. If you got loads of time and have a dead hard disk drive then I would definitely ask you guys to try out this procedure.

I tried it, with a Maxtor diamondmax 21 80gb crashed, and was impossible why i dont understand the instructions and the coil wires are microscopic. Do you think i can do it with a SCSI hard disk of 6MB?
