Video: Laptop Battery Fire

Notebooks experts from PC Pitstop have artificially created a lithium ion battery fire in a notebook. The video is amazing and is really worth watching. The fire was created by puncturing the lithium ion battery that was present in the notebook. (Batteries are really dangerous)

Warning: Please do not try this at home as this is very dangerous.

    I would surely weep if the lappy was mine

  3. They burned the lappy so that we all could know how a Lithium-ion battery burns out when it overheats in a lappy. :D

  4. Yup, but I seriously doubt that it burns upto 1000 C.

  5. There is a possibility as it is metal fire as well as a chemical fire so there lot of chances that it could reach upto 1000C
