In Windows Vista by default the drive letters are displayed after the drive label, If you would like to customize the display of drive letters then there is no easy option to do that quickly.

Drive Letters Display is a free small utility that gives you the options to customize the display of drive letters in an easy to use GUI window.

This utility offers you four options to change the display of drive letters and also gives you a preview of how the drive letters would like. The four available options are:

  • Show all drive letters after the label.
  • Show all drive letters before the label.
  • Show remote drive letters before the label and show local drive letters after the label.
  • Never show the drive letters.

The utility is pretty straight forward to use, you can see the results of customization before they are applied as preview is available. This utility is available for Windows Vista only.
